Windows Mobile SportyPal 1.2.5

A new update is now online for Windows Mobile users, fixing most of the issues introduced in 1.2.4. Here’s what we fixed:

  • Upload speed should be back to normal now.
  • SportyPal should no longer crash at random on certain devices.
  • Downloading the workout map right after completing the workout should no longer force your display mode to landscape.

This is an old version and is no longer available for download. You can download the newest CAB here.

I am reposting from the 1.2.4 post.

    Thanks for the updates. Suggestions:

    1. Make it more touch friendly. Some of the controls are so small it looks designed for WinMo 6.0.
    2. Place a BIG “mark” button on the screen during workouts. When I hit “mark” it records the time, distance and location, then blanks the screen again. This would be helpful when running laps or any other time you want to record intervals.
    3. Put this thing on Windows Marketplace so I get notified of updates. Adoption would pick up also.

Great new updates lately! specially on the webpage!

1.24 and 1.25 have made it imposible to listen to music while runing sporty pal on Xperia 1, due to lag in music.

ps. could you make the program tell (audio) your avg speed every XXX set amount of distance. So you know if you are behind. perhaps a shadow race of previous route?

  3. i always rename the cab file with its current version. will it be a good idea if you write the version on its cab, ie

    just a thought, thank you.

    • SportyPal Says:

The idea is that there should be one link that always points to the latest version, and that’s why the filename is always the same.

My sportypal 1.2.5 crashes every time i try it. It then locks up the phone and i have to reboot it. Is there a new fix soon?

    • SportyPal Says:

There will be an update soon, though we don’t know what’s causing the crashes on your device and we don’t know if the update will fix them.

      • Trond Ponce Says:

I am using it on an HTC TytnII.
Is there any way I can help you with debugging?

      • SportyPal Says:

Check for any files named “errorlog” in your SportyPal folder and send them to support at
