An early beta version of SportyPal Pro for Windows Mobile is now available for download here. This version should be able to work on all devices running Windows Mobile 5 or higher (both Standard and Professional), excluding those with screen resolutions of 240×240 and smaller. We’re also aware of the fact that SportyPal Pro doesn’t look good on square screen devices (320×320 and 480×480), but it should at least be usable (and we’ll get it up to shape by the final release, we promise).
Again, while using SportyPal Pro, you should be aware that this is still a somewhat early beta. All features that are currently implemented are completely usable on our devices, but we can’t guarantee anything about devices that we don’t have, and we can’t be sure that you won’t encounter the occasional crash here and there. Please report any bugs that you may find using the support form (make sure to mention that this is about the SportyPal Pro beta), and feel free to comment here or on the forum.
There are two more things you should know about the current incarnation of SportyPal Pro. First, there are some features that will only be unlocked in the upcoming paid version. To try these features in the beta, you can request a free 30-day trial by attempting to access a restricted feature (you’ll get a prompt asking if you want to request a trial when you do so).
Also, the Twitter sharing feature has been updated. You no longer have to enter your Twitter username and password, but you need to connect your SportyPal account to your Twitter account by logging in to sportypal.com, going to My Profile, clicking the Facebook & Twitter tab, clicking the Connect button next to Twitter and following the onscreen instructions. This change will also be implemented in the standard version of SportyPal in an upcoming update.
